Arisarum Proboscideum

This is the Arisarum clump growing in the garden. One has to dig deep to find the mice hidden beneath the leaves, perhaps that is why my Forget-me-nots have taken the oppertunity to bedeck them with flower!! any knowlageable person seeing this perhaps can tell me have I too much nitrogen in the soil as I notice on an advert from a garden centre the mouse are all proud sitting above the leaves.
