Pelargonium inquinans

This is a lovely pelargonium, interesting information.

Very beautiful red !!
It seems to be not so taller at a glance.

At the moment, Tsuyoshi, its about 1.25 m tall and growing fast, I shall have to repot it soon!

Please do it at your leisure, Chloris. All flowers and also buds seems to be borne on the top of only one stem. Does this long stem has some branches ?

I sowed the seed for this plant in March 2003, so its now 6 years old. I pinched it out when it was young and did this for the first 3 years, but it doesn't always work.Some of the stems have branched, but not all of them have. As you mentioned, its a bit odd, because it does send up these tall, strong branches which do only flower at the top. My plant now has 10 stems all flowering now and this will continue all summer. The flowers are also small for the size of the plant but they are very bright!
