Its amazing to see all your plants thriving outside. For us here in the UK , to grow these plants we would need a greenhouse and heat!

These grow so easily outside that they would probably be one of the most common plants in gardens up here in northern Queensland. I will have to post a photo of the largest ixora shrub in my garden - it stands around 4 metres high and it has grown with absolutely no attention whatsoever.

Are there plants we grow easily here that you would find difficulty with?

Oh yes Chloris - plenty! I live in the tropical north of Oz and plants here have to be very heat tolerant (even the winters are fairly warm), and they have to be able to survive hours of bright sunlight throughout the year with very little rain. I would love to be able to grow things like tulips, clivias, daffodils, jonquils - love the flowers - but that's not possible. We do have some spectacular flowering plants of course, so it has to be each to their own.
