In the courtyard - Asparagus Fern (Asparagus aethiopicus)

So called because the new shoots look just like the head of an asparagus! (Also known as Ground Asparagus, Asparagus densiflorus and Protoasparagus densiflorus).

This is a horrible weed plant here...and they are almost impossible to pull out because of their bulb-type roots. I should say this is 1 of 3 species of Asparagus ferns that are weeds here. They are good as a hanging plant in a pot though.
