South African Species Poppy

South African Species Poppy

The petals on this poppy look like delicate tissue paper. It is a very small bloom.

I love the colour of this poppy.
Sort of apricot-shades would you say?
And you are right, Mrs. c.
The petals look very like tissue paper, and you've captured that effect on camera very well indeed.

Terra,
Yep it is a soft apricot shade...the first couple of blooms start out about the size of a 10p and then go to the size of a 5p before finishing...

Mrs. c: do you realise how BRITISH you are now?

Aren't you supposed to compare the petal sizes to cents and dimes?

LOL
