This is the other £5 passion flower I bought. No name. It doesn't have pollen either so pollinated again with 'Constance Elliot'. Three fruits (seed pods).

Thanks Karen. I'm not sure if it's got a name but the label on the pot at the time said mixed passion flower. The other had a label Eynsford Gem. Reduced from £30 each to £5 each was just too good to resist

Wow! What a bargain. It used to be hard to get anything other than p. Caerulea or the white form. Now there are a few purple ones claiming hardiness. I used to have a collection of the smaller ones in my conservatory. I bought them online. But in the end they bled too much nectar all over the place. Very sticky! I love them though.

They were overwintered in a cold greenhouse as well as my 'Lavender Lady' bought at a supermarket with two clematis. Three for £5. Now that's a bargain! To be honest I took up the same offer this year. Clematis 'Jingle Bells', Passiflora 'Victoria' and Clematis 'Blue Angel'. They come in small pots but soon grow. Patience is a virtue.

That is lovely. I thought it was a watercolour painting!
