One of my dwarf Buddleias.

I love dwarf buds. This one is particularly fine. Behind it is Hydrangea Pink Annabelle which is a somewhat weak plant but worth growing for those wonderful blooms. It’s nothing like Annabelle which is huge and very strong. This has very thin, weak stems. I lost two of these over the winter. The Butterfly candy Buddleias are great though. I lost one of the six (bought from J Parker’s as an collection..they were tiny rooted cuttings) and one other is weak, but of the six I have four very lovely strong plants.

It will Shirley. Mine all had aphids too but they have grown and are now healthy looking. :)

Thanks Karen ... I did put a soapy water spray on the foliage a couple of times.

Shirley, I have the same one ...cut off all the affected buds and it is now producing more flowerheads.

Julia, that's really good to know.
I was about to go outside but there are flying ants all around ... yuk!

Karen, my one and only Butterfly candy one has the horrible damage from aphids on it ... I wonder if it will even flower!
