In the pool is the trunk of my Eucalyptus pauciflora, which sadly ( but probably fortuitously) didn’t survive the death spot. That’s the second tree that has died there.

Always lovely to have a bird friendly spot isn’t it.
We’ve a eucalyptus”stump” at the back, it has a pot sat on top with plants in. We had to chop it down several years ago, it was way too tall for our garden.

Hooray, the birds are coming into your garden now!

I would like to offer you a family of Crows who are visiting our garden as they all fly in with beaks full of bread from other gardens and dunk it in our water bowls! Messy and not wanted, thanks very much ... :o((

I do like the pot arrangement you have created.

I love all your pots .... and the birds should enjoy the bath in this area you created for them.

Isn’t it lovely watching the birds at this time of year. We have a Great Tit nesting in a drainpipe next door … he comes back every year. Today he was very busy taking food back to his nest, then suddenly he was joined by Mrs Great Tit so they evidently have a brood to feed!

Thanks Kate. Had it brown, it would have been a problem. So all’s well that ends well.

Thanks Shirley. You can keep the crows. We have plenty on the development, and jackdaws and my favourites, Magpies. Theyare so beautiful. I do love them!

Thanks Klahanie x

Sheila, how lovely! :)

Karen, I agree that the Magpies are beautiful, such amazing colours to their tail feathers.

I agree, we have a pair of Magpies — or Maggies as we say to the cat 😃— up on the bund hill. Love their colouring too.
