Bought this year.
This particular variety is an interspecific hybrid (the crossing of two species from the same genus.)
Two parent plants: 'Diane' and viscidifolium.
The 'Diane' parent is a hybrid itself, and 'viscidifolium' is a species
Hybridization date: c. 1950.
Bred by: D.G. Hobbie. Origin: German.
