It's lovely Shirley. Unfortunately I don't have much luck with Camelias which are the white ones. I bought a red one last year but hasn't flowered yet.

Rose, this has always been in a pot, now it has moved up to a bigger one with Ericaceous soil and is doing well.
I hope yours has some buds before too long.

My wife bought me a red one, many years ago, I don't remember its name exactly but it had 'King' as part of its name. Unfortunately it didn't last more than year or so. :(

There is a red one named Dr. King, perhaps it was that variety.
