I have many here. Nesting time is in January here in San Diego. There’s so many that nest in the trees in my yard.

Rufous is very protective of their feeders. They are not as friendly as Annas but they stay here only for few months, Annas stay year round.
They are starting to nest right now. They are pulling the fluff from my outdoor blankets.

I think there’s three or four types of hummingbirds that are native. They live here year round and in middle January they collect the lint from the dryer vents around here. It’s fun to watch.
