A few purchases yesterday.

We were out buying some turf and I picked up a few plants as you do. Two Pines, a little Anenome and a Myrtle Flambeau.
I was pleased to find the Myrtle, seems an all rounder. Evergreen, flowers and also puts on berries in Autumn.

Thanks Ange! I've still to decide where to plant the Myrtle. I was walking around aimlessly earlier!!!

Hope they grow well for you Kate. I went to our local nurseries on Thursday, and bought a lot of plants ready to go in when the frosts have departed.

Thanks Linda! All planted out last week and hopefully will thrive.
I wish i had a greenhouse like many of you, but, I just couldn't sacrifice any of the garden. :-(

If you've got a conservatory Kate, that's a useful place as there is a lot of light for the plants there. Our greenhouse isn't heated, so the tomatoes and courgettes are in our conservatory at the moment, but the ordinary bedding plants are in there to avoid them frosting up if we get any late frosts.

I don't unfortunately, Linda, I've an extension at the back, with a large window. May be worth trying this, although, Eve my cat would properly push them out of her way! : -)
