Thanks. I also have some in the trees- more of the mid sized red. I can see why some people are into them only... with enough types you could get blooms all summer I suppose.

Yes, some hybrids bloom off and on all year. Golden Charms is on that does. I have so many, as they’re super easy to propagate.

Andy on youtube a guy says he's growing Santol in the ground in Visalia. That for me was ultra tropical- it didn't even want to grow in summer outdoors in the bay area. I only had it as a houseplant to do well. Maybe he covers it in winter?

My Santol is still indoors. I’ll put it outside next month in shade. I bet the ones growing outdoors here look horrible. The weather is so cool.

I saw his other video- the Santol is in a virtual greenhouse with no floor. Thats where he's going to or has planted it. Same for his Mangosteen. He goes by central valley tropicals on youtube. His papaya are enormous! He has a large collection of Guavas.
