Just a tip about painting animals, Meadowland. Follow the curves of their body with your brushes. Some people just paint the animal and its colours, and it's flat on the painting. Even with the eyes, there is a curve on them. I'm self-taught and do my own thing. This watercolour took me about 12 hours. I put the light colours on first then work up to the dark ones to finish. Paint from the heart and it will show in your painting as we're all different in our artwork. Hope this helps.
