Meadow the first two on the photo are doing ok; the farthest one not so much. I have lost a number of clematis on that one so have tried honeysuckle and akebia this year. We'll see how they get on!

Thanks, Sheila, yes it is mine. These are all viticellas. I don't have much luck with the earlier , large-flowered types.

Love the arches. I would like some for my narrow sunny alleyway at the side of my house. It’s one of those things I’ve put on my wish list…. One day.

They do add some 'shape' to our garden, Ams. It would be very dull without them, I think.
