It’s doing better this year, but still not a nice compact one like Julia’s gorgeous Salix! It’s a bit ‘sprawling’..maybe my technique of pruning!

I see them around here. They are very pretty plants. I just wish our deer would not like them so much. Any Salix type acrually.

It looks very pretty Kate...the one here is about 15 years old ...it is trimmed strongly in the Autumn and just a light one late Spring. I have a 2nd one which struggles in a pot...will have to find a border for it.
