The fence is a metal ColourFence - never needs painting and was put in early 2019. I worked on the border during 2019, I'd put in so much compost over the years the border was quite a bit higher than the patio so I terraced it with pretty cheap log roll fences with weed matting behind it. The climbing rose is taking a while to come on again, but my fuschia is a joy. The choisya in the corner was a 'waif and stray' at the local garden centre - £1.99! I was out of work and needed some retail therapy! It's about 6'x6' now.

these photos would make a lovely blog and more members might read them too. I dont always look at photos.
I do like the fence and if it never needs painting that is a bonus.
