Adenium arabicum - Desert Rose

My Desert Rose is flowering very well this year in the extreme heat. Typically, this desert rose doesn’t flower as prolifically as my other Adenium obesum. Photo taken Sept 24, 2020.

What a nice Rose. Is it scented like roses are?

It’s a tropical desert plant or tree which grows very slowly in a pot. It does not flower like my 16 year old Adenium obesum, which is spectacular in bloom.

It doesn’t have a scent. It’s in the same family as Plumeria (which I have many in pots and large on in the ground). The plumerias have the incredible sweet fragrances.
