Sedum telephium.

Sedum telephium.

With 'Azure Rush' cranesbill.
Last year the vine weevils had most of the sedums in this border. Managed to retrieve enough for cuttings. Now they're into the privet hedge leaves.

I like the more subtle colouring, Fern.

I do love sedums and look forward to them being covered in butterflies.

W'rose: the garden is full of butterflies at the moment. Lovely!

They are definitely a plant to have aren’t they! I’ve lots of bees in the garden, they seem to be lovely all the herb flowers at the minute. Spotted an increase in the butterflies too!

I didn’t realise the vine weevils ate the Sedums too!

I didn't realise they ate privet, DD! The newer part of the estate with the landscapers' plantings are riddled with them. Pretty awful that they have been introduced that way.

Oh dear.......how awful.

That's pretty, Ange. I have Postman's Pride... which is all red... leaves, stems and has very bright scarlet flowers. After moving around to a few places I think I've finally got a place it likes... right beside the pond!
