Thanks this is their first year ,I'm pleased with them , Kate that is a little patio cox's apple tree I planted it in the garden last year ,this will be its first year of producing apples its looking good so far :o))

I had these Alliums Sb, but they seeded around terribly, I dug every one up in the end & was still finding seedlings for a long time. I think the solution is to cut the heads off before they can, but then they do look attractive so I didn't. Perhaps you won't mind them popping up everywhere.

Thanks for that tip Ff maybe I'll save one head and then put a bag over it to collect the seed if I want more ...
