Yesterday was a very cold day, we are starting winter 4ºC, cloudy, without wind and with a thin fog. Our visitors had breakfast with the brocoli leaves and then walked down the path to the front gate.

The jacutinga, also called jacuapeti, jacupará and peru-do-mato, is a bird of the cracid family that inhabits the virgin forests of the Midwest and Southeast regions of Brazil. Measures about 75 cm, feeds on fruits and berries; until the 1950s and 1960s, it was relatively common in this habitat.
