Beautiful red rose Julia, can I ask, what is the tree on the left of the pic? I like the look of it. Does it have orange flowers?

That is the Sorbus Aucuparia Asplenifolia…...bit of a mouthful.....lovely bright red berries now,but very soon the blackbirds will be devouring them.

That is such a lovely sight. Red roses symbolic of passion and combining it with the whispy salix is fantastic, Julia.
in N.A. the mountain ash is a weather-glass. Old folk used to say that we are facing a long hard winter when the mountain ash has lots of fruit. Do we need to get out our snuggies, Meadow?
