This is a tender shrub and I have forgotten its name!

It should NOT be flowering at the moment!

The poor plants are as confused as the rest of us. It is flowering very well so I hope we don't get heavy frosts if it is tender. Do you wrap it up on cold nights? Sorry just spotted it looks to be in a conservatory.

Scotsgran, it IS in a small conservatory so we are able to easily protect it on cold nights.

No Julia it isn't a bougainvillea. The flowers are very tiny and it has a scent similar to eucalyptus. I would love to know its name - I have a label ready and waiting! Any other ideas?

Is it a Leptospernum? because of my cataract trouble I need a closer look at one of the flowers, then I will be able to tell you!

I googled pink flowered shrubs with a eucalyptus scent and the nearest plant I found was a myrtle ugni. A close up of the flower would be helpful.

Is it a Cuphea?

It is a prostanthera which Karen identified from the other photo which I put on here.

Thank you for every suggestion that you have thought of.

Once we read the name we remembered it. It is commonly known as the Australian mint bush.

Mystery solved!
