Jonquills

Jonquills

Somewhat large, for jonquils. Definitely bright and cheery, just what is needed in winter.

It is strange, but snails and slugs don't like these. They go after what would be called a normal daffodil, but they won't touch these jonquils - a real plus!

How interesting the snails don't bother them. I shall have to look out for some.

These look strong and happy there.

It can be hard finding jonquils that will thrive in a warmer climate. Most give up after a couple of years, but these are doing really well.

Never sure which jonquils and tulips will flower in following years. Glad those are doing so well.
