We typically have pretty hot July weather here in San Diego; however, it's been hotter than normal. Plumeria trees love the heat. This is why there's so many Plumeria trees in the landscape here.

Penny, Thanks! This is one of my favorites! It didn't flower last year. That's the first time it never flowered in the 16 years that I've had it.

Your very welcome I think it woukd be my favourite too. Thats fantastic I bet your thrilled its the first its flowered in the 16 years you ve had it lets hope it continues to flower year after year.

I meant: Last year was the first time it didn't flower. It flowers easily every year. I'm not sure why it didn't flower last year.

The weather here in NY has been very weird lately. Normally, our storms come out of the west as they ride the jet stream like an conveyor belt. Lately, we've been getting a lot of storms out of the east coming in off the Atlantic, resisting the jet stream. I'm not a meteorologist,but this seems peculiar.

We've had usual weather here, also. I think it's the new normal, though. It's been really hot and humid here. The Pacific Ocean off San Diego's coast is in the upper 70's to low 80's right now. That's unusual, also...it's more typical of a strong El Niño.
