the river Derwent yesterday

Gosh, that does look fast. Luckily we have not had that amount of rain here but driving towards Shrewsbury yesterday, some of the fields looked very soggy.

Oh, that looks cold, wet and...sorry Linda...depressing.

The current has been strong going down the river. The ground is so wet that it's run off water I suppose.

I think we are all exhausted by it now. On the promised spring day that is today, we have horrible fog. :(

Hi HB and Karen, It's turned out to be a warm and sunny afternoon here 17 degrees.

Yes it was great to have some sunshine, we got the inside of the greenhouse cleaned up, I hoed the flowerbeds and just generally tidied up all the dead debris lying around. Gerry got the jet hose out and cleaned all the plastic on the bungalow. Today it's overcast again.....
