Pandanus after first winter. (Pandanus utilis (Common Screw Pine))

I know, this is of interest to about .099% of GOY..lol.
But,its a real challenge and rarity in the bay area. I cant say I have the only one outdoors, but pretty sure.
Its a staple in warm climates...and I have a mild climate. Marginal.

My interest in those types of plants..means I have to put up with less then perfect looks a few months a year.
The fun Waddy is in the warm months and they are adding new lush growth. Even if its scaled down in a pot or in our climate.

It's relatively fast-growing, so it should grow out by summer.

I see movement already..longer days. Slow..but next week is warm and I expect a good time to lightly feed,re pot..all the good gardening fun.

It has a very big root system. A big pot is generally needed.
