Found this, yet another thing I didn't realise was in the garden. It is growing in the corner of the drive that we had stored all the rubbish previous owners had left here. Poor thing only has 1 flower on it butnow I know it is there, with some care, it may come back better next year :-).

You are so right Karen, working my self up to removing an evergreen Oak they have planted next to front wall. Next door has one on their drive and it is about 60ft tall.

Thanks, thank god mine is not that big, only about 12ft so still fairly a baby but it needs coming out. :-)

Its a lovely true red rose too. I'm sure it will get better for you. The last owners werent great at plant positioning were they?! ;)
