Acer dissectum april 2016 for Klahanie

Very beautiful and mature Bjs. I love its fall colour. Most of your plants are very mature (and beautiful).

I believe that dissectum means that it is "lace-leafed" or "cut-leafed" as atropurpureum just means "red leafed"

I see some tags in GCs say just simply Acer Atropurpureum or Acer dissectum or even just Acer Palmatum which could be either. But we do have lots of hybrids now days with fancy names. I am fond of them all.
