Magnolia Soulangeana

Oh wow, it's massive! I did notice a couple of late blooms on my Stellata Brian. But I've never seen anything like this :)

Karen it is a large tree photos were from my bedroom window ,I cut two fairly large branches off a couple of weeks ago to let a bit more light in, I wonder if it took fright and thought i was going to chop it all down.
Things do try to reproduce as a last gasp when they they are dying hope this is not.
