On a cloudy day. Rapidly has become one of my favorite plants ever. Grows in hot and humid Florida,dry and sizzling hot Arizona,in a pot or in ground.
What more can you ask?

Thanks Andy. I'm doing my best to not stunt the growth. I can see this one day as a large potted standard. Eye catchy in a blue ceramic pot. One day.

Yes, it's a beauty! There's several in Balboa Park and at the San Diego Zoo that are almost tree-like. They bloom so well. They definitely like the dry weather!
