A couple of Peonies

The peonies have started to flower in the garden and they smell gorgeous. Sadly, they suffer from droopy head like most peonies. Although I am sure that these were sold as not doing that.

I bought tomato cages for mine. a bit unsightly until they fill out, but, if it rains the flowers are supported. love peonies too. like irises, they have their time. To me, that makes them special.

Thanks, that is quite a good idea. I will need to keep my eyes open when in the garden centres to see if they have anything like that. It is too late this year, but maybe next year before they fill out.
