Sweet chestnut.

Sweet chestnut.

I have 6 year old tree, it is very nice, symmetric tree. This year was optimal for it, as the weather has been hot and dry, as in its homeland, so I will have a good harvest.

This one is a Slovak breed, so it is genetic mix of the C. crenata x C. sativa. It has 3 metres now.
"Parents" of this breed comes from one place in Slovakia, located at mountains and called "Blue Stone". Here the trees were planted in 16th century during Otoman Empire invasion to our territory. This region has the oldest and still generative trees of C. sativa.

Lol, Klahanie, the answer to your question stayed hidden in pedigree.
I just wanted to say, that this breed doesn´t grow so high as natural sort.
