I am envious of this, Paul, as most of my potted Dahlias have succumbed to bugs. Earwigs, Slugs, Snails etc., shall probably have to bin the plants :o(

Oh dear..I noticed this aftyernoon, one that I planted towards the back of the garden has been eaten but, fingers crossed as I say this, I havent had too bad a problem with snails/slugs at this garden.There, I've gone and said it now....next year will be sanil and slug city!!!!
i WONDER IF ITS BECAUSE THERE WERE NO PLANTS IN THIS GARDEN SUITABLE FOR THEM TO EAT UNTIL I ARRIVED THIS YEAR.

Paul, I threw some slug pellets around the pots on the patio, something I rarely use, and there were three revolting fat, orange-bellied slugs this morning. Yuk!!!

I have seen , in my water butt, horrible yellowy green slugs this year but,noticed none on the garden.

Again, yuk!
