150710 - saw this in one of the peat-pots in the greenhouse as I was about to throw it out - none of the seedlings had survived a preous "snailing". Took this picture, then launched the whole thing over the back fence into the "wild wood"

urk. I remember coming home once, years ago, late evening, and the whole pavement was covered in snails; the only way to get past was to walk on them, and the crunching sound was awful.
