You are right, Derek, but is is just "slightly" earlier, then usual. I have photos from previous years and it bloomed in June already.

Hi Katarina, it's flowering very early for H quercifolia, they usually flower mid summer to autumn, or at least they do in the UK, must be the difference in climate, Derek.
