The wood burner looks very like mine but boy what would I give to have that fabulous wooden beam ...How old is it Keith ?

I can't imagine a wood burning stove going at this time of year. We've been having such a horrible heat wave for the last 5 days with temps up to 98ºF (37ºC)...the heat wave finally broke today...the high here was only 80ºF (27ºC) today. Ahhh finally cooler weather!

The best that the wood burner has got my front room up to is 32°c Delonix.

That's pretty hot! My house was 90ºF (32ºC) inside during the horrible heat wave. I hate when it's that hot inside the house! Thank God today the high was only 72ºF (22ºC)! It felt so good...even though it's not going to last...hot weather returns by Friday. YUCK, YUCK, YUCK!!!!

I was going for it that day. I was soooo damned cold I just wanted heat. Sue was not impressed!

That's not so bad if it's only one day. I would agree with Sue.

We're heading into another record heat wave this week. It's so crazy! It's been like this all winter long. It appears the winters here in San Diego are getting hotter and drier. It's not good for the extreme drought.

The best place to be, still waiting for my OH to buy one, 30 years now lol
