Me too. This winter has been horrid. I'm glad it's behind me.

Glad to hear the snow is melting Paul. We've had one day warm and the next day cold. The temperature is up and down like a yo-yo. At least the bulbs are flowering now and we saw a bumble bee two days ago.

Yes, the weather certainly warmed up nicely over the past week. I'm ready to start turning over the vegetable bed. I can see bulb tips popping up everywhere. thanks Linda.

Gerry has dug our very small patch over and the parsnips have been spinkled on and the peas are just showing in the greenhouse. We always grow them in the greenhouse as they seem to get a better start away from the slugs snails and birds! Then we plant them out when the weather warms up a bit.

That's what I've done with my tomatoes. Gave them a head start in my back bedroom. The beets can be directly sowed now since they are a cold crop. All the birds that I've been feeding all winter come back and take care of the slugs, worms, caterpillars for me.
