One of the cool group of Brugs so it flowers best in mild autumn and winters.
Surprisingly hardy, this plant survived the winter of 2012/13 outdoors although it took so long to recover that it did not bloom in 2013.

Is this planted in the ground? because I have now had ours for 3 years and not one blooming flower.....

Meanie

It's in a large pot DD. Place it in full sun and water and feed it well over the summer. The buds will form in autumn. Small buds will die at 0°c, but large buds will flower.
Keep it frost free and in the green over the winter and it will bloom in the spring as well.

DD - with autumn and winter bloomers from far off climates it is important to give them a good summer "baking". This is especially important with dormant South African bulbous species that grow over the winter.
