I haven't this one Keith I have a new one growing from seed called S. pratensis ' Sweet Esmeralda ' which looks to be very similar , I'm not happy with the seed I received about 9 seeds and only 3 are growing they are small at the moment ,I'm hoping the plants grow healthy then I can take cuttings or save seed from them ....

I had poor germination with that one too (different supplier probably as I had a lot more seeds) and the ones that did are slow growers.

I've re-potted them today two have fairly good root systems but the third is touch and go !

Packet of seeds costs less than one plant I suppose............

It's beyond nice IMO DD! The best of my hardy Salvia.

So hard to tell Meanie when you see it like this, I appreciate the colour is lovely....

If it sets seed you can find out..................
