This bee had worn herself out, spread-eagled on a lettuce leaf all night long. She was back to business after emergency honey rations were delivered.

So do I. I enjoy nothing more that sitting in the garden watching them going about their business. It's ever so calming.
I had a red tailed bumblebee nest ruined in floods a couple of years back. I watched the queen escape and then sun herself until she was recovered and off she flew!

Agree 100%. Im so glad your red tailed queen escaped alive! They may well be my fav type. Though like flowers~~~my fav tends to be the one Im looking at right 'now' lol.
