This bed runs across the valley at right angles to the stream. It's not visible in this shot..but the curtain fall is behind the peony, M. I think I have a pic of the fall that I can post.
Been a very slow spring, Karen...but at last there is some colour. I never get sick of green, we spend a lot of our year in the browns and grays over here!

Just posted the only pic I can find of the "curtain"...its during spring runoff and it looks soooo cold...brrr...

did you plant them, lori, or are they naturalised? how many do yu expect-hope to get?
