Have you looked this up? It seems to contain icarin, hence the common names like Horny Goat Weed and rowdy lamb herb (according to Wikipedia).

No I hadn't Wylie have now :-),fancy that, I did know of a few of its other names Barrenwort, Bishops Hat and Fairy Wings but see from Wilkepedia there are a few more too!!!
Thanks Dawn I've been really good this year not bought any new plants yet, well maybe a couple lol, so had a splurge, a couple of new seeds on the go though, have a tray full of Meconopsis Lingholm to prick out and of course lots of daylily seedlings thanks to Wylie ;-)

No me neither Dawn lol, bought a new sambucus yesterday ooops, it was only £4 though from Wilkinsons of all places, 'Sutherlands Gold' only a baby but it'll soon grow :-)

Nice, love Sutherlands Gold, that's another thing I like about the Elders, they grow quick and dont mind being cut back. Bargain. I might take another look at Cotwold Garden Flowers, had a quick look the other day and they seem to have even more now.
