Gladiolus tristis - 2014

Specie gladiolus from South Africa. Borderline hardy, but in well-drained soil in a sheltered sunny spot, the bulbs can be left in the ground over winter. These were planted in the autumn of 2007, and have been there ever since, so it may be hardier than the books might suggest.
