If it weren't for the fence next door, I could kid myself that my garden extended all the way to the trees in the distance ...

It's a very pretty scene with those lovely trees.

I did wonder why tehre's a solid belt of trees except here, at the back of *my* fence! but I tihnk I got the better of it - I can see further than them, lol

Yes.. well-balanced vista, with those pretty shrubs too.

it does sort of hint "follow me, I've got secrets"! I dsn't know ifit was done on purpose, or if a tree fell or was taken down and the gap left by accident, but it could'nt have been better placed.

lol just to the right of the yellow shrub was where I was dreaming about getting a stile put in, so i could access the "wild wood" on the other side - I managed to get up the slope from below, but only to the back of next door's fence, the tangle was too much for me to either work my way along or start again at the bottom a bit firther along. Oh, the small firewood I could collect! but maybe not a good idea to make a path all the way down - if i can get down, others could get up!

Yes.. probably best to leave it as is ;o)

lol no matter what I've got, I seem to want more. tut-tut! The fact that a low fence is considered sufficient shows how effectie the "wild belt" is as protection, I don't think I'll do anything that mgiht weaken that defence.
