It had a very wonderful scent. I cut the flower off to bring it indoors. Hyacinths usually don't do well in my climate because its usually too warm but this Winter was unusually cold.

Yes... the cooler winter would have suited some flowers !

I even have a bud on my peony. This is the first bud I've seen in 5 years.
