roses renewed

roses renewed (rosa incognita)

Brought these with me from the old place - they were bare twigs then - just noticed today that they seem to be settling in to the new place. Of course, they're in as much wind-shelter as I can give them at the moment ...

They look promising, Fran. So nice to bring old friends with you when you move :)

I couldn't abando them, even though they looked 90% dead - always the hope that the 10% will triumph. I need to find somewhere to place them - maybe near the rose bush, as if that's survivied the wind and weather ...

I've tried to make some kind of windbreak for the smaller plants, but I don't know how successful that's been - I had some mini-roses - at least I hope I still have! - but they need to get acclimatised to the new conditions.
