Abeliophyllum distichum (close-up) - 2014 (Abeliophyllum distichum)

Shrub to five feet, needing a sunny position to ripen the wood.
Advantages - flowers very early in the year
Disadvantages - the flowers only last about three weeks

Would have thought 3 weeks was pretty good for most flowers ,you are getting picky.lol

I agree that three weeks later in the year would be par for the course, but given that witch hazels and forsythia go on for double that time, I think three weeks of flowers for a shrub in February is a bit mean.
