Bryant Park was once ruled over by drug lords and vandals, now it's been "reclaimed" and converted to a beautiful public space - ice skating in the winter, picnics free outdoor movies, concerts and plenty of recreation during the summer. Sits behind the Public Library.

nice capture....good informative comment...ice skating would be my objective if i lived near by.... would you recommend the ice rink??

Hi Marybells: Yes the ice skating is fun - highly recommended. It's also nice to bring a picnic basket to the lawn and watch the free movies outdoors in the Summer. Also Bocce Ball is becoming very popular there too.

Yes i do like picnics :-) so that's a very good idea.... all in all a very well thought out conversion...
