For Janeplant. "Wits End"

For Janeplant. "Wits End"

This pic shows that, "wits end" is made using tongue & groove for the roof, trellis & for the rest, split bamboo, which, is easy to unroll.

Thats a really good design...looks like a really tranquil place to sit....i like to the little fairy lights :)...theres a lot to be said for bamboo....looks very natural and blends well...

Thanks, everyone, the apprentice appreciates the praise!

Sitting in " Wits End" there have been all sorts of emotions displayed. I've held my head in my hands and stamped my feet, whilst silently screaming aaaaaagh, I've smiled looking at my garden and laughed till I had the hiccups at some funny conversations!

A very simplistic design and not expensive to make. I just just love sitting in there Karen with a cup of tea - it's my little sanctuary. I shelter under there when it's raining. It's nice in the evening when the solar powered fairy lights come on - and it hides me from the nasties next door!

Simplest is usually best! :)

Facing there at the opposite end of the garden there's a public foot path, but because of the high fences we can't be seen. People passing think nobody can hear them especially in the evening when it's dark. One night I had to hold my nose and stuff the sleeve of my fleece in my mouth to stop myself from laughing - I couldn't move or the gravel would've made a noise, then goodness only knows what would be said to me. Some of the conversations are well...shall we say unrepeatable! I'm not nosey I just like sitting in the garden :)))

I am laughing Helenium myself as I have simlar, I spend a lot of time in my garden even in the winter unless its extremly cold, just need to open my door and its a straight run up the path borders each side, and a patio under my kitchen window, I have a pathway side of my house end house , which is nt to long so I can hear every one down the lane, so if my door is open I can hear them too, no its not being nosey it people who are talking loud lol.
